🎼DESCRIPTION:
Here it is, the second part of my Kimi no Na wa. medley!

It was only after I finished recording that I realized that... This is my longest arrangement to date! Surprisingly, this is also the first time I've given absolutely no thought about the length of an arrangement while arranging it-- 100% of the content I added/removed were influenced by how well they fit into the song. This might already seem like a natural way of thinking, but, there are many times when I ask myself questions like, "How do I make this piece longer?", or "Will this make the piece too long?". I'm pretty glad that I'm starting to break this habit :]

This arrangement took me around a month to complete. The most difficult challenge I faced had to be arranging the climax of Sparkle. Not only did I have to build up from the quietest part of the song, I also had to somehow transition to the really epic and grand climax--and in 8 measures at that! (That's a very long build up time if you ask me). In the end, I feel like I did it justice, and I hope you guys think so too!

About the animation: this one took me a week and a half to create. Every single day, after I'd get home from class, I would go straight to Photoshop to work on this. It was extremely difficult to upscale the second scene because of two things:

1. The reference I was using was 360p.
2. nothing in that scene is meant to be blurred, meaning everything had to look crisp and clear.

Because of this, I had to guess what many of the details were... Which was a huge pain in the ass OTL. Nonetheless, I learned a lot from Makoto Shinkai, and I hope to learn more from his beautiful works.

I'm really tempted to arrange old anime songs, so keep on giving me suggestions for those too if you have any!
